I'm back in Stockholm in a couple weeks for work, so I'm there for weekdays only, i.e. Mon - Thurs. Can people recommend some absolutely must do bar/clubs for some serious jazz-ness? I'm aware this is a pretty cool city for the scene and I was there back in March and found a couple of places playing very good live jazz, but more by mistake, so this time would like to have something to aim for in advance. I remember Gilles talking about some venues on his show a year or two back, but I can't remember what he said now.

Thanks.

Not residing there anymore, can't say anything on 'must do'...Raw Fusion is usually good, monthly on 'Mosebacke'. I believe there's other things happening there, live music as well as clubs. I believe 'Fashing' is on a similar tip.

Thanks all. I know about Fasching, might try it tomorrow. I'm herring-d and dill-d out already, after 2 days. The Glen Miller Cafe, despite its naff name, was phenomenal last time, great up-front modern, free form jazz trios, will be back checking it later in the week. And Nikey, I will do all I can to avoid kidnap!

Currently trying to catch up on threads after a few weeks away with manic work.
