I'm popping over there for a quick 5-day trip in about a week's time. Planning to stay with friends in upstate NY, but will no doubt spend some time in NYC for shopping and 'ting.

It's been 5yrs since I was back in Noo Yoik, so my knowledge is a bit rusty. Pointers on places to get:

1) Records
2) Trainers
3) Stussy gear (now the Stussy store has closed).
4) UNDFTD merchandise (any stockists in NYC?)

...would be appreciated.

1) Williamsberg was far more lucrative than central NYC - there's a thread somewhere already...
2) a few independent shops down Greenwich way were far better than any of the main stores
3) there is a small shop on Canal St that has a Stussy franchise but the recent stuff is poor mate... like the designers have got ADS and are just scribbling on things. Triple Five Soul have relocated to Williamsberg too.
4) no idea what you're on about!!

Good news - a new Stussy store opened last month on the site of the old UNION shop in SoHo.

Sweet.

Think that's on Worcester Street, right near where the Stussy shop is/was.
