St Etienne - Only Love Can Break Your Heart (Masters At Work Dub) (Warner Brothers)
Classic.
the MAW mix is nice enough but I always preferred weatherall's take
the new richard x interpretation is staggeringly good

Buddy Rich – Nutty (White) [New York]
Is this actually Nutville or some re-edit Nutville?
Steel Grey – Do You Want To Dance? (Joe Smooth Mix) (DJ International)
haven't heard this in ages, what a choice surprise. desperate to reconnect with that ultra high vocal from the original now though and get it out my cranium.

Also loving the reggae version - anyone got full info? - of The Supremes' "My World is Empty Without You". proper Blues party bizznizz.
there's a group from iceland (reykjavik) called Serotonin (or Serotoniniceland) that did an amazing remix of the supremes'. not sure if that's the one, though, but its worth checking it out.

American Standard – Mr Chinn Gets It Together (Disco Edit) (White)
that's the follow up to the Beegees / Olivia Newton John edit that kick started the whole "edits" thread a while back. Need to hear this proper
Looks like a great show tho - basement jaxx have made some incredible club music - obviously like the earlier stuff to the more recent output but looking forward to checking this show...

i would be quite annoyed if they hadn't done an exclusive preview of their LP on the show. that's why their on the show it's part of the album promotion right? jesus some people
Errm, I do actually have a lot of respect for jaxx, especially their early stuff - they have been there or thereabouts for 20+ years.
I just think playing 10 of your own tracks is a little bit excessive (unless they are snippets of course, haven't listened in yet)
Just saying like, not sure why some replies have been so emotional!
