He'll be some bloke you've never heard of, if his name is revealed you'll have forgotten it about 10 minutes later.

Here's an 'underground' artist getting free pr from one of the most widely read papers in the country. Do you really think he is that upset. Good luck to him and hopefully he will sell a few more units and be able to carry on making music.
His PR consultant wrote the article for the sun in the first place. Nothing in life is free, not even newspaper articles.

oooof. now THAT'S a conspiracy.

No conspiracy about it - thats how the PR industry works. Paper gets interesting story with minimum effort, client gets revenue-generating coverage, PRO gets a fat cheque. Everyone's a winner.

i think its funny. dont front! if you dont know who he is, you want to! its the whole point of the mystique.
errr yes. but i admire the guys courage to try to remain incognito.. also given what too much exposure does to so called "underground" producers.. invariably they turn into arrogant pricks and their music suffers as a result. he's a refreshing artist, and certainly no "banksy" worth "unmasking". the point is to just let the music do the talking isn't it.
this is exactly why i love our british tabloid press. Cause they make a complete mockery of pretensious shite like this.
Come on. Do you really think he doesn't want exposure? Doesn't wanna get paid for what he doe's? I don't think so.
Scenario - if it do turn out to be norman cook - or darius deneche even. Would you still stand by the music or distance yourself from it..?

Burial would love all the attention - it would help sales...

chocolatesoldier- 08-05-2008
I heard it was a collaboration between Sir Cliff Richard and Simon Cowell
thenapking- 08-05-2008
if you'd said 2 years ago that the Sun would be trying to discover who Burial is everybody would have laughed at you.
