| Quick shower, shave and all that, I ventured into the main room to hear some disco gems, which were a pleasure to the ears. NJ was was in full swing, to a growing but appreciative crowd. Ending his set by Glow of Love - Change, preceded by a lovely Pointer Sisters track (no idea what one), it really cant get much better. A quick venture into the Beat Bar, I was surprised to hear a great ecletic mix of re-edit and jazz classics from Gilles P. The tunes didnt surprise me, but how the young crowd were getting into tunes I did years ago. A bit of banter with Kev Beadle....it was back to the Con room for Normans 3.30 GT set. Street Corner from A&S started another fine set, which continued through a number of tunes I have never heard of, but continuing the more disco vain. I didnt stay until the end, bed called!! It was good to see the warm welcome (an admittedly tired) Norman received from the punters and the recognition he deserves for continuing what he does best. Thats enough of bigging you up NJ! Saturday night for me was a Dr Bob Jones set, mixing new soulful house, with old classics, which went down a storm, opening the way for me the best set of the weekend from Terry Jones. Lets just say the Con Room rocked. I left early doors on Sunday, but understand INDIA's set was sublime, as was the closing party. Too many DJ sets to witness and not enough time. But another quality weekend, apart from the cold! May beckons |

| Floating points, totally smashing it! Definitley the best set of the weekend for me. Vacuum Boogie sounded immense on the funktion one's Dam Funk was frickin awesome. Pittman ditto Henrik Schwartz killed it so did Recloose Mica Paris, so underated. Raving with Tawiah to R&B and Hip hop classics Gilles dancing round the stage at the end of his set Non stop dancing with my crew until the break of dawn |
