This set was recorded at the Big Chill FM radio station from 2-4am on the morning of Monday 10th August. I was one of the last things on at the festival so there was a massive crowd outside and the atmosphere was ace!

The crowd were amazing – great to see a lot of people below 20 getting down to stuff like Ron Trent/Chez Damier and vintage Zed Bias.

As it’s a live recording I haven’t done a tracklist but it contains all sorts really – house, techno and disco from people like I Cube, YSE, Floating Points, Lindstrom, Chez Damier, Ron Trent, Eagle by Linkwood, Rick Wade, Bleep District, Kelley Polar, Juju and Jordash plus broken garage stuff from people like El B, Martyn, Solid Groove, Seiji, Zed Bias, Simbad and many more. Basically it’s pretty banging 4am end of festival stuff.

I have put it on my site as well so that people who subscribe to the podcast can get it too - so it's also available @ http://www.redrackem.com. My stream (ooer) is 192 so if you want to listen to it - your prob best off doing it from my site.

I've got this on right now (42 minutes in) and it's IMMENSE. If I weren't sitting with a load of marketing ladeez and accounting geekoids I would be in full boogie mode....actually perhaps I should throw caution to the wind.

Cheers for the kind words chaps. Yes Chris it was a right proper good time at the radio station. Jol - I tried to explain to Clyde just how big a tune Serve It Up is for me but he was having none of it. He's too modest about that tune - its a bona fida classic.

It's just been put on that new Crazy P Later comp too.

I have to say that although I was there I missed your set, but now you have entered my top 3 of the Big Chill alongside such hallowed comapny as Floating Points and Kode 9 & The Spaceape dj sets. You playing in Manchester any time soon??

It was a really unique experience and I am really happy that it got recorded. I missed Sam and Kode 9s sets but the best thing I saw was Octave 1 on the first night - they were soooooo heavy.

As regards playing Manchester - nothing on the calender but I would love to play there one day as I have had a lot of support from Piccadilly and Fat City over the years..
