recent rearward reissue. (the original has always been about £500 too expensive for me)

Yes, got this playing right now.

Sid, this might be a bit too moody and melancholy for playing out (and it would probably sound out of place on your last jazz mix - which was a great mix, by the way) but it is a great album.

for all you london-based 'wooders, Flashback on Essex Road seems to have got a lot more jazz and fusion in recently. i was in there yesterday and the whole jazz, funk, soul, fusion area has got a lot bigger. well worth a visit.

I managed to pick up (among some others) the Fela Kuti & Ginger Baker Live LP for £4.99!

Let’s Start
Black Man’s Cry
Ye Ye De Smell
Egbe Mi O (Carry Me I Want To Die)

Haven't seen that coffee but looks nice - normally shop from the end of the aisles, whatevers on offer but will go up the coffee aisle and look for that one.

Not going to piss in it - but at £2.50 for a Thermos flask you bloody could do then chuck it away.  Have pissed in one of those curver boxes though lol

We used to piss in my mates sink when he had a bedsit in Brighton and we were too fucked to wake everyone in the place up.

I once pissed in an empty 2 litre pop bottle when the bathroom was being done up - it took extreme concentration.

We need a new thread - things that you have pissed in or on. It would be a new low for Brownswood.

10 points to anyone who says their girlfriend / or boyfriend for the ladies of brownswood..

re the peeing into bottles thing: whatever you do, don't form a seal with your wiener. instant trouble.

back to the recent purchases... just picked the Falty DL album up. wicked dubsteppy/beaty stuff. bought it on the strength of just the first 3 tracks:

Picked up over the weekend:

FaltyDL - Love is a Liability album, Masomenos - The Third Eye album, Shinedoe - No Boundaries album and Fabric46 LTJ Bukem which is certainly cheering up a dull afternoon in not so sunny London

had a nice little dig on sat afternoon down at my local 2nd hand shop in stokey

my best find was this 4 track freezone 12" sampler from 1996:

1. glenn underground - 'tribe of benjamin' on one side

2. herbert's 'freeze' on the other

http://www.discogs.com/Various-Free-Zone-35/release/5807

the glenn underground track is a killer

also got eddie kendricks - 'eddie kendricks' lp for 50p

romanthony's 'never f**k' 12"

and a few other bits
