I hope he gets bummed so hard in prison that he dies from internal injuries.

The new Cherry Lucozade is nice.

I think Neil Harris is another who's done time. Think he plays for Oldham now.

Millwall

Oh right, knew he used to play for Milwall. Cheers

oh, he will definitely be playing professionally again once he is released. no doubt about it. he will only be 31 or so. he can score goals. he will be very cheap wages. don't doubt he will be playing div 1 or 2 once released.

I have to be honest; i can't say i really 'knew' him as a prolific goal scorer....

: )

D

no, but he's probably scored more than dirk kuyt has at liverpool.

LOLLY. your on a long ting

it's interesting that clubs which choose to ignore the indecent fingers and dirty hands of wrongun players lke bellamy, bowyer and barton all recieve a resounding karmic kickback. leeds, newcastle, west ham for example. when supporting one or sometimes more of these players the clubs fortune took a turn for the worse. they all slept with a dog and woke with fleas.

groping up while out to celebrate his wifes pregnancy. prize knucklehead.

And you there will be clubs after him once his sentence is complete sad.gif

Nah, he's finished as a top flight footballer. He only has himself to blame; as you rightly say, so many chances - yet he threw them all away.

D

not strictly true

that West brom striker - whose name escapes me - killed someone with his car.... and now he's back at a 1st division club

it can and will happen

2nd Division, Notts County

Racism?

Nope. But there will be some people who will feel that if Lee Hughes has been another chance then so should Marlon.

D

this will happen, but how many chances should one person get. He obviously is a vile, vile man and I'm embaressed that he ever wore the Watford shirt

sounds a little hippy dippy scaloni i know but every action has a consequence don't they say.

look at the timelines of the players and clubs concerned though. bowyer as an example, after being supported by leeds throughout his trial and having his legals covered he leaves at the end of the season and joins the hammers after the liverpool deal flunked. if memory serves he played twelve, ten games and at the end of the season west ham dropped. so he joined newcastle. that season their fortunes turned after a pretty sweet spell. he rejoined hammers i tink.

as for bellamy...

anyways it's not a dig at these clubs in case yours is one of them smile.gif

let's see when king gets released.

andybird- 10-31-2009
ex barnet... we made a lot of money (£250k I think) selling him to gillingham after not too may appearances or goals... about ten, twelve over a couple of seasons.... our manager at the time didn't like him and he was rumoured to not be too popular with the players... always quite liked him though...

I think you're getting Neil Harris mixed up with Lee Hughes, who did play for Oldham for a while after his imprisonment.

Neil Harris is the Millwall player that has suffered testicular cancer. On a totally different tip, he was in the news recently when playing against Swindon, & one of the opposition players apparently taunted Harris about the illness he had suffered.

The Swindon player attempted to justify his remark by saying that Harris had racially discriminated him.
