There are some weird coincidences on here - great minds:

I had this record out last night!

I used this on my summer soul mix ages back and I love it - it's a great J.R. Bailey production. And the outro's good for using in a mix too

If only I had a copy of 'Pieces'.... This is such a sublime summery song; at least you can now pick up the whole album on Jap CD, and maybe soon on Stonesthrow..

Killer song - I think my copy of the album's a bit mashed (or at least the cover is, but for £2 I'm not complaining). I think it's James Gadson on drums isn't it (from memory).

Such a mellow, bitter sweet track - the Rhodes chords go from Dmin to Asus9 to Amaj which is quite unusual. Absolute classic, Patrice is beautiful in every way!

What a great album - it still goes for quite a lot.

Again - great minds... I had this down on a list to make another summer soul mix! This has to be my favourite song of hers by a long way.

Strictly Jazz vol2 - had it on again last night , starts off really nice and mellow JAZZ , then about 40 minutes in it completely changes flow - the tracks are fine but didnt suit the mood last night , it was almost like a mix of 2 halves

loving this Liam, lovely stuff. Particularly stopped by the track at about 16 mins. Will work out which one later. Work bloody interfering as ever.

I nearly dropped that stevie snippet into my last two podcasts but never did it. Would love to play with it a little first - if that's possible. We'll see...

It is beautiful.

Man i have always so loved this. My most favourite soul has a lovely amount of electro in the mix. This tune I could do the windmill too, well I wish I could if I could do the windmill.
As used on a recent DAM-FUNK tune But hey you all know that
