I was never a huge fan of d'n'b but, being a vinyl junkie, couldn't help but pick up a load of 12's and box sets in the 90s.
The ones I really liked were the unusual ones that sounded 'funkier' than most - either because of the sample or the drum pattern (rather than just being a bunch of swirling synths and chopped Apache or Amen Brother breaks).
