Think I can probably fill in a few gaps regarding Beaney boy's battered-up appearance! Myself, Bergs and Jimi Oh was the last to leave Moog and walking away from the venue noticed a very pissed up person pretty much on all fours on the pavement. Upon closer inspection, it was indeed Beane, minus his glasses! Reckon he must have fallen over, getting the grazed forehead and hand. Cue searching the surrounding area for his glasses, which Bergs found about 6 ft from where Beane was! Then he realised he didn't have his records and phoned his mate effing and jeffing about where they were. Cue wander to aforementioned kebab establishment where Beane had been, ordered a kebab, left before it was ready and went for a wander!

I had a really good night, it was great to meet new and old faces once again. And the selections from everybody were as strong as ever, in particular Mike Mongos boogie selection.
Special shout out goes to M Cutz for his public service announcement before his set and thanks for allowing me to chat fart (MC) on your set laugh.gif, I don’t think Beane was too impressed, I got told to put the mike down sad.gif.
I also remember a mini jazzdance session going off during Beanes set (My back was feeling it the next day). I also remember promising Wrighty that I would dance to his whole set if he played Jazz, thankfully he didn’t so I got away with it. Respect for the ODB tune btw wink.gif

This is what I played:
Vicky D – This beat is mine
Imagination – Flashback
Floating Points – Truly
Floating Points – Vacuum Boogie
Theo Parrish – Going through changes
Phuturistix – Cohiba

BTW Dave I also had a pair of Forest Hills on too

Was thinking about this track the other day. Haven't heard it in AAAAAAGES. Lost my copy a few years back.

I thought they were , I just kept forgetting to ask you about them.

Did you also notice that after we were following that Audi A8 and I got out the cab , what looked like a yellow Ferrari with its top down went past us ? ***

** with my knowledge of cars it was probably a Morris Minor

Update on the kebab shop, Beane old boy! You were getting some proper stares from the lads behind the counter, especially when you couldn't remember ordering and paying for your kebab and then, when I was paying for my pizza at the same time, insisting that I couldn't pay for yours as it wouldn't be fair biggrin.gif

Loved walking around the Lace Market end of town and finding little lanes to walk down. With the best one being the random find of Rob Records. This has to be diggers heaven but if you touch anything you are in a real danger of being buried alive under tons of piles of  boxes filled with records and books. What a state he keeps it.

Glad you stumbled into Rob's, but if that photo is recent then he's had a right good tidy up biggrin.gif tongue.gif
