Wow what a night.
Got back to the hotel at 5 after staggering past Beane propping up the Kebab bar out side the club. Man you were wasted LOL
Excellent city you guys have, tons of great bars and lovely places to eat.
Was surprised by the lack of Robin Hood novelty tat. If it weren’t for a walk up to the Castle all trace of him seemed to be eradicated which was weird.
Loved walking around the Lace Market end of town and finding little lanes to walk down. With the best one being the random find of Rob Records. This has to be diggers heaven but if you touch anything you are in a real danger of being buried alive under tons of piles of boxes filled with records and books. What a state he keeps it.

Much respect to the Soul Buggin boys for putting on this great night with a big thanks to Wrighty to making me feel so welcome. Loved your impromptu dance freak out which lasted about 1 minute before you were either knacked or realised you were too drunk. LOL. I just managed to grab my camera but managed to cut the top of your head off. DOH.
Pretty sure I went round and said hello to everyone, all a great bunch of lads with superb musical taste. If I missed you sorry about that.
· Tune of the night for me was David Pickod and the West Street Mob – Break Dance Electro Boogie. Sounded so fresh.
· Theme from Midnight Cowboy from Olly was a very nice surprise. Love that soundtrack from one of my top 5 films. Respect to dropping that.
· Biggest WTF moment of the night goes to M-Cutz. Asked me for a smoke outside just before his set. Was pissed staggering about all over the place. He took a few drags of the rollie and look like he was gonna puke. Asked him if he was ok and he just wander off. Went to see what I thought was gonna be carnage to find him probably pushing for the best set of the night. Tons of button tweating excellent mixing and having Naz going up on the Mic. Great stuff mate. Did remind me of Keyser Soze from The Usual Suspects. LOL
· Yep The Giant Woman WTF
· Brendan Gleeson from “ In Bruges” being there!!!!
· Naz playing a wicked deep set of tunes. How do you manage to move around the decks with those giant muscles mate. LOL
· Random tune of the night goes to Bergs, lovely guy, was a real pleasure to meet you again mate. He had the grave yard shift when most people had gone but he still played a blinder. Especially with the fact that he didn’t know if the cd players were gonna work. The tune he finished with was by Brian Ferry – Angel eyes I think if memory serves. I had never heard that before and it sound wicked. A great tune to finish on and totaly out da bag.
· Shame not getting to meet CTOP hopefully next time. Hope all is ok mate.
· Another highlight of the night was the back to back sets of Jimi oh, Jazzchops and Bergs. 3 wicked sets that all flowed in so freaking well. Respect guys. I had loads of dancing and head nodding.
· MOOG’s wicked design and art work. Loved the graff in the back and the painting of the dude with a pint in his hand.
· Having to drive back to the South Coast after having around 3 and half hours kip. Not a good look.
· All round massive respect goes to everyone. Cheers for making it such a memorable weekend
I played the usual soul/boogie set but kinder of wish I had gone for a different style and a more mixed bag set. Glad you loved the Cameo tune Wrighty.
