where's stevie wonder's version?

Where's Bobby Hebb's original version? I'm betting that's Bobby 'Herb'.

Where's Uwe Buschkotter & His Party Players version?

Obviously that list was a cut and paste job. One volume was more than enough if you ask me and I'd probably only play the James Brown out.

I reckon CC musta played that splurge of 'Mas Que Nada' versions after one of his then-regular 3 nights without sleep "adventures"....playing computer games..!

I remember attending a "Modern Soul" do in Manchester in the mid-80s featuring Richard Searling and Dean and Searling began his first set by doing a whole hour of Jazz Dance classics - me and my crowd LOVED it but the Soul boys weren't too happy........

Out To Lunch in Nottingham has Beane guesting, don't miss this people it's a brilliant session and having Beane there gives you even more of an excuse to attend

Up to page 100 so far...

A couple of recent highlights:

Simon Mansell heckling Gilles after he played a load of duff Acid Jazz:

"Do you sleep well at night? Well you shouldn't after playing a set like that"

laugh.gif

Anne Quigley from Kalima's interview: where she pays respect to the couple style dancing that was favoured at the WAG and other London nights.

Indeed from my viewpoint - it's much better to dance jazz with the girls rather than stand in a circle with a load of blokes... biggrin.gif wink.gif ohmy.gif

Hmm...
In my Experience, they both have their merits, but...
wouldn't it depend on the tune?
Er.. just a view point from a 'bloke'...
