| Re TV/Film/Promo footage. I know from discussions with both Dayo and Weegee that there was a Vid or DVD that had a compilation of various Jazzdance TV bits and bobs from past years, knocking around brownswood a while back. Is it still around and can anyone (Weegee???) confirm exactly what was on there? Ive got quite a few bits myself and would be happy to share, swap or add but it would be on DVD. cheers Al |

| Regarding Neil Rawles: Neil directed the video of my version of 'Anarchy In The UK'. It was filmed at Saks in Southend and featured a ton of the Essex jazz dancers that used to come to mine and Phil Levenes long-running jazz dance session there - 'Back To The Tracks' (pre-Hi Hat). Again, he filmed it on 16 mil I imagine and in black and white. It was very grainy - which is what we wanted. He also directed that ITV documentary called 'The A13 - The Road To Somwhere' about the lives of Billy Bragg, myself and the late Trad Jazz singer Maxine Daniels (Kenny Lynch's sister). I'm back in contact with him and am so proud that (as Phil said) he has gone on to acheive so much. |

| Reading the book on the train into work this morning and read this - Colin Curtis once played 5 versions of "mas que nada" back to back Outside of a reggae sound system this is audacious. I wonder which 5 versions they were... The longest version excursion I've ever done playing out is probably 2/3 versions in a row: e.g old devil moon - jay jay johnson into old devil moon - anita o'day |

Where's Bobby Hebb's original version? I'm betting that's Bobby 'Herb'. |
