| Myself and Ket are gonna be absent from studio duties for 2 Sundays this month. Sun 22nd - Dingwalls! and then off later this month to Freiburg to spend a weekend with Mr Truby and Jimpster at Root Down (27th-29th)... looking forward to that one! Anyways... this means we gotta lay down a couple of pre-records for the Mucho Soul Radio Show. Links here for those that may have missed it... MUCHO SOUL RADIO SHOW PODCAST LINK URBAN JAZZ RADIO LINK Probably gonna do a Dingwalls remembered special for the 22nd and hoping to have Dayo as a guest presenter for that one .... watch this space...soon come :0) For the 29th we wanna do a "Every Home Should Have..." kind of show and it'll be real nice if you lovely folk here at Brownswood could have an input on this one. So here's the criteria... Albums by single artist(s) ie no comps greatest hits, collections etc, that you think every home should have. You know (similar to that albums you always return to thread), the kind of albums you consider to be flawless. ie ALL KILLERS NO FILLERS albums. Here's just a few we've come up with so far... A Kind Of Blue - Miles Davis Gears - Johnny Hammond All n All - EW&F Bill Withers - Carnegie Hall Innervisions - Stevie Whats Going On - Marvin Nightclubbing - Grace Jones That should start you off... any suggestions used will get a shout on the show! and remember its an Urban Jazz Radio Stn so steer clear of the rocky/folk bizniz etc OK. Cheers Al & Ket |

| Isn't this essentially the same thread as that one from the other day with loads of pictures of albums in it? |
