Latest from Moton is sounding nice - especially as I've been after "Going up in smoke" for yonks now. Not sure if these are straight up boots of the originals or slight re-edits. Either way it's proper kicking off over on DJ History over these laugh.gif

Aye, some pissing and moaning about this on DJH. Don't think there was a conclusion as to whether the tracks had been edited or just straight up booted. Always wondered that about the Slow To Speak label - they've put out some HUGE tracks by major artists that you wouldn't think they would be able to afford to license, and I can never tell if they've done anything to the tracks either.

Didn't Hard To Find get raided by the Fraud Squad or Customs and Excise in a major way?!! Well dodgy shop, think I bought the Dj Zinc version of the Fug eees (as Marc Radcliffe used to call them) Ready or Not from there!

my friend made more money off his boot of la la land over da funk, than he did off any of his own music. they did get a cease and desist in the end from curtis velvet.

R.I.P.

i did think this mark - the vocal sounds different on the short clip I've heard - but a lovely version all the same. Whose singing?

the other tunes by Cathy Davis - can anyone id the other too?

Can't tell they've done anything, probably spliced part 1 & 2 together.
Great 70s dancer, and redone by Al Kent a few years ago as Secret Sounds on Zrecords cool.gif
