Yeah i saw this, good doccu. There is also a good one about Theolonious Monk called 'Jazz Baroness', which was broadcast around the same time. Look out for it, worth a watch also.

watched 1959... think i saw it first time round when it aired in March. recall the Miles and Ornette Coleman parts but not Brubeck or Mingus. worth seeing again. i liked the comments of female jazz fan who'd attend the Vanguard (i think it was that club).
